Whitney Houston and Dana Bash
Whitney Elizabeth Houston was conceived into a musical family, 9 August 1993, in Newark New Jersey. Whitney is the daughter and cousin to singing superstar Dionne. In Newark Whitney started singing with the choir of the church as a small child. at the age of 15, she joined her mom in the background vocals for Chaka's smash Im Every Woman from 1978. Jermaine, her mother and Lou Rawls were a few of the performers she performed with. Also, she was modeling for Seventeen magazine in the year 1981. The singer was first a featured performer for the New York-based New York Funk band Material. The quality of her vocal performance attracted the attention of major record label Arista where she signed up in 1983. The debut Whitney Houston album was released in 1985. It was one of the best-selling album by a musician. All My Love was released in 1985 and was a top one smash. In its debut US year, the album was has sold in excess of 3 million units. Then it went on to be listened to by more than more than 25 million worldwide which earned her the first Grammy. Dana Bash is also known as Dana Ruth Schwartz and she is employed by CNN as a reporter, anchorwoman as well as a political correspondent.
