Winona-Ryder
Winona Ryder (born Winona Laura Hornowitz) was born in Winona Minnesota. The name of her parents was derived from her hometown. Michel Horowitz is her father and Cynthia Palmer is her mother. Ryder's father came from an ethnically Jewish family. Ryder thinks she's Jewish. Ryder is the younger sister of Uria, and has half-siblings Jubal & Sunyata. Ryder as well as her entire family relocated to Mendocino, California in the year 2000, when Ryder was only seven years old. The town didn't even have electricity. Ryder began to be a committed read because they had no television. When she turned twelve, Ryder joined the American Conservatory Theatre to take acting classes. When she was 15years old, Ryder was offered her first acting job on the screen in Lucas. Ryder faced bullying during her teenage years. Ryder believed that her future as an actress would bring about change. However, it didn't come happen. Still, she pursued her goal. It was 1988 in the year Tim Burton released Beetlejuice that she got her big break. Ryder kept playing successful roles in a variety of films. In 1993 she won an Academy Award for The Age of Innocence.
